I'm finding it harder to hide my bump at work. I don't care when I'm out and about. I actually would prefer to be bigger out in public so that its easy for strangers to tell I'm pregnant.
However, at work I would prefer to be a bit smaller until I reveal the news! So for now I've been wearing clothes I always do but with something looser covering it. When I walked to and from my desk I put my hands in front of my stomach and hold it in slightly, trying my best not to suck in! Back at my desk, I could let it all hang because my coworker that sits across from me was told very early on.
I have been noticing some hip pain when i wake up in the morning. I pillow in between my legs has improved that drastically. That means my hips are starting to move outward a little. I'm sure that will continue. Baby Lime must need a little more room. I'm still feeling a little sick, but mostly at night. I was hoping that would be a good thing, that I could simply sleep through it, but that isn't always the case. Sometimes I'll lay in bed for hours and then get up to eat when i realize my stomach is completely empty. I've been taking prenatal vitamins in the morning to help balance out the sickness in case the pills are contributing.
No dreams yet! I'm surprised!! Maybe I'm just too tired. I'm sure I'm having them here and there, just not able to remember anything. I wish I could! Two reasons. One, obviously i want to be able to write them down and look back on them. Two, the ability to remember them might indicate I'm getting enough sleep!
So Thanksgiving was last week and I was afraid to weigh myself the Friday after. But I had to because Friday mornings are my scheduled at-home weigh-in. I was very surprised to find that I lost 1.5 pounds!!! How is that possible? My metabolism must really be in high gear! Good thing I haven't been feeling well enough to exercise yet. And the start of this week was my family's annual Pie Day. We go, socialize, and eat pie for hours! I'm sure I'll gain a little from that tasty tradition. I bet Baby Lime likes Pie.
