FRIDAY JULY 1
We're up north!! We love coming up here, despite the crazy spots of traffic we had to suffer through on the way. It was fun to show my mom the ultrasound images from this past appointment. Its always makes things more real when you can see details like bones and the outline of facial features.
Last time I was up here I was still dealing with some nausea. This time, I'm feeling great! I feel completely normal...just with a nicely sized stomach.
SATURDAY JULY 2
The kids and i spent most of the day in the water. It was wonderful to just relax with them, soak up the sun, and enjoy being pregnant. I still fit in all my bikinis which was a bonus. I'm preparing for not fitting in my bottoms at some point, just cause that area might grow along with my stomach...gotta keep good balance!
SUNDAY JULY 3
Its so wonderful to be spending the weekend with my parents, sister, her family, my brother and his family. I will not admit how many Poptarts and s'mores I've eaten over the past few days. That'll be my little secret. They're kind of a cabin tradition. We only buy that stuff when we come up here. And they're very worth it! Even the stomach aches I feel after going back home are worth it. Yum. This baby might like s'mores, since most of the Poptarts I enjoyed were of the s'mores variety. Double yum!
I got to see some of my family that hadn't seen me in person since revealing the news. They were all so happy for me and wanted updates. I am more than happy to give them updates because i can't even believe I'm in this position one more time, that I've been given the chance to share in the joy a third time. What a bonus.
THURSDAY JULY 7
Hm...looks like I got a little lazy on the blog updates this week...hadn't realized it'd been since Sunday that I wrote anything! How about a quick recap! Monday wasn't too exciting; no pains, no issues, all good. I was still enjoying the great outdoors up north, and then got to take the kids to a local fun fest where Landon rode tons of rides and Kiley fell asleep during a massive fireworks show. It was a perfect end to a wonderful Fourth. Tuesday was uneventful, which I will accept! I didn't get any sleep from the night before so fatigue was strong. I took a few tiny cat naps. Wednesday I was starving! We used up all our food money for the holiday weekend so now the rest of the week will be spent digging around and being creative. But for work there wasn't much to bring. I had oatmeal and milk at 5:30am, animal crackers at about 11am, and an apple at 2am after a nice stroll around my work area. The walk helped wake me up but i was still quite hungry. When i got home i was able to saute' a steak (a-mazing!!!) and cook up a nice sweet potato that i forgot we had. Then i gathered up all the quarters I could find, ran to the store after Mike got home and picked up some popcorn. I had a craving. When i got back, I realized we must have thrown out our popper. CRAP!!! I really had my heart set. So...i popped them on the stove for the first time, and it worked!! I was quite happy. There, recap finished.
