Drawback? Too full! I slumped on the couch next to my family the rest of that holiday evening. Still, that was a welcomed activity, since when I had arrived at my Grandma's house, not everyone had been aware of my pregnancy. I wore a dress that hid the bump, but still gave a look of being pregnant. i found myself sucking my tummy in and bending forward slightly to minimize my size until the news broke free. After I'd stuffed my face with two plates of incredible home-cooked delights, I told my aunt it was ok that i'd eaten so much because i was eating for two. She gasped! My mom took center stage declaring that Mike and I had an announcement to make. When Baby Fig was revealed everyone was happy and congratulatory . . . and i was relieved to let my stomach back out! The next day, my husband and i locked ourselves in from the Black Friday craziness. He played video games while I played with Landon and attempted to manage a sick stomach that had once again returned. Thanks for the break little baby. You let me eat to my heart's delight on Thanksgiving, and for that i am grateful! Its getting a little harder to hide my baby bump at work. What a difference a week makes. I'm starting to wear loose things over my tighter shirts. If i start dressing frumpy, everyone will wonder why, so i cover just that area and hope no one picks up on my plan!
