FOR YEARS OUR FAMILY has taken walks and stumbled upon painted rocks left by anonymous artists. The rocks made us smile and we loved replanting them for others to find. The kids and I wanted to paint our own, so after being gifted a box of paint markers from Santa we began gathering rocks from our frozen backyard.
The name 'Cherry On The Rocks' was one that took some thought. The cherry was a given, but I wanted something clever to finish it out. A saying that describes beverages served with ice seemed overly fitting for rocks originating in the land of 10,000 frozen lakes! We hope these tiny pieces of art will spread joy and positivity to people that find them, and that they will travel all around. Check back in to see where they go! |
